Fixing Poshmark's Annoying Hover Menus
I was watching my sister browse Poshmark when she accidentally hovered over one of the navigation menus. The entire screen was immediately covered by a massive dropdown. Classic bad UX—hover menus that are too eager and too large.
Before: Hover triggers full-screen dropdown chaos
So I put together a userscript that blocks the mouseover events and adds small toggle buttons next to each menu item. Click to open, click to close. Much cleaner.
After: Click-to-toggle with dropdown indicators
The script works by intercepting events at the capture phase before Vue can handle them, then adding its own click-based toggle buttons. It also watches for Vue re-renders that might remove the buttons and re-adds them as needed.

A word of caution: Userscripts run with full access to the pages they’re installed on, which means a malicious one could steal your data or do other nasty things. While this script is harmless, it’s always a good idea to read through the code before installing any userscript—even from sources you trust.
Works with Violentmonkey or any other userscript manager. I personally use Violentmonkey, but do your research before choosing one.
